MPS NSD #7 - Make A scrapbook page!

Love this challenge issued by Robyn over at My Pink Stamper.  It just allows us to do what ever!  I used the Wild Card cartridge for the title and Paisley for the boots!

Kaiser Kraft Prairie Lane Snowflakes?

When I saw this beautiful paper (Kaiser Krafts Prairie Lane from Lil' Lambs Boutique) all I could think of was snow flakes.  I know, how could I think of brown and blue and snowflakes, weird right?  But just look at the final product before you judge me.

I am digging this fanfold look!  I had never tried it before but it was actually pretty simple.  If you want to see how I did it, there is a tutorial video at the end of this post.  Below are a few closeups.

This is a pretty thick layout (about a half an inch) and I am not even sure if it will fit in a page protector.  If it won't fit, I will just have to frame it! I really love the texture the fanfolding gives it and will definately be trying this again!

My Pink Stamper Challenge

Robyn at My Pink Stamper challenged us to make something using the colors pink, green and black.  I made a layout using the Paisley cartridge and had extra cut cuts of these super cute sneakers, so I figured I'd make a card.  They were perfect to go with the Papertrey ink sentiment.

Recipe:

Paisley Sneakers cut twice at 3 inches
Plantin School Book circle cut at 4inches
Bo Bunny Double Dot (wasabi, tutu, & licorice)
Papertrey Ink Green Thumb Stamp Set
Ribbon from Hobby Lobby

I Don't Garden...

I admit, I hate to get my hands dirty, but I love, love, love any thing with fruits and veggies on it!  Botanical prints, dishes, teapots, aprons, you name it ~ I have it!  So when I got this 6x6 Cosmo Cricket Garden Variety Pad and Ready Set Chip Sticker Sheet from Lil Lamb's Boutique I couldn't wait to dig in!  First, I made this super simple card.  The base of this card is Bo Bunny Double Dot, but the rest is Cosmo Cricut.

I also created this cute, simple layout! So may times we think we have to go over the top with super fancy layouts, but with this adorable paper you dont need to.

A 12 x 12 piece of Bazzill Swiss Dot embossed cardstock and a red band of Bo Bunny Double Dot is the only other paper I used in this layout.  The strawberry is cut at 6 inches from the Cricut Paisley Cartridge.  The title is from the Pooh Font Cartridge.  The Chipboard stickers are so adorable and you get so many on this sheet. I think they are the perfect finishing touch to set off the sweet picutes of my daughter in her first bikini.  Well gotta run and get busy in my "paper" garden!

A Springy Challenge!

Robyn's (My Pink Stamper) second challenge was to make something springy to chase away the winter chills.  I just got the Paisley cartridge in the mail on Friday and it has the cutest images on it!  I am sure it's going to become one of my favorites!

This card was put together using scraps including Stampin' Up! borders and cardstock, Bo Bunny Double Dot, DCWV and the last bit of yellow checked ribbon on the spool!
